Titanium requires a lot of extra finishing work and machining time to get to the same product and we were running into issues with the Model B and early ideas of the C with Titanium. Once we switched to the 7075 Aluminum those issues were resolved and in theory made everything easier to produce more product. As time has gone on, we have experienced issues in the assembly and finishing process with the aluminum that put us right back where we were with timeline. So, Gavin decided to switch over to Titanium since we know how to resolve the issues with more efficiency. That doesn't mean that the aluminum C's that have gone out are bound to fail or anything, issues are resolved before they leave the shop, so I'm speaking strictly in house issues to get a final product completed. I hope this information helps!

Hey there Hawk fans! We are well on our way into the 2nd Drop of Model C's and I'm sure you have seen or heard that invoicing and shipping is under way. The team has been working very hard to keep us on track and get as many completed Model C to you as quickly as possible. The Standard Carbon Fiber Inlay Option is what we are working through right now so if you are waiting on a Titanium Inlay Option Model C, we will be building those as we have the DLC available. The last invoice sent out was AB-2834 on 5/2/22 for Standard Carbon Fiber Inlayed deposits. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out!
As I'm sure many of you are aware by now, all invoices from the June 2021 Model C Drop have been sent out! If you have not seen the invoice feel free to reach out and I will sent a direct link to you via email. Yesterday the last of the paid invoices shipped out so if you still haven't received your Model C then check your inbox for an email from Shipstation to get tracking information.
We finally have Hawk Beanies back in stock so make sure you get an order in before they are gone again! T-shirt and Hoodie sizes should be showing up in the next couple weeks and the trucker hats are not too far out from there so stay tuned.
Hey there everybody! We have been really busy here at the Hawk Shop doing our best to keep up with timelines, so I first wanted to thank all of you who have been posting about where we have been as far as invoices sent and shipped, it has been a big help! Secondly I wanted to give an official update as to the the last invoice sent out which was AB-2459 about 5 days ago. We have still been having issues with DLC and supply chain for some materials, but everyone is putting in extra time to ensure it doesn't effect all of you who have been so patient with us. Thank you!!
A new round of invoices has been sent out, and we are now at invoice AB-2086! Our outside services delayed us again with separation plates so this round took longer than anticipated, but we should be back on track for more invoices in a little over a week.
The next round of invoices have been sent out and we are up to order number AB-2035. If you are below that number and are having trouble finding your invoice just send us a message and I will send you the link. If your order number is past that don't worry, your knife will be ready to ship out before you know it! The team is still trying to get 50 a week done, but as we all know unexpected things can always come up. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions you may have.
The first round of invoices went out this morning and shipping has began! Make sure you are checking your Spam folders for a PayPal invoice as they sometimes get lost in there. Assembly has been running smooth and machines are running nearly non stop to get your Deadlock in your hands. If you haven't received an invoice yet, don't worry, you'll have it as quickly as we can get it to you!
The first Drop of the Model C is well under way and it has been a hectic time here at the Hawk Shop! We did run into a few issues with our outside services but we are back on track and shipping will begin in the next couple weeks. I apologize for not updating you all here but I will more consistent with updates moving forward so keep checking back for more info!
